When will my order be packed and dispatched?

Our efficient on-line and phone ordering system ensures that your order is packed and dispatched within 24 hours of placement.


When will my order be delivered?

Australian Air Express Overnight Service: Parcels sent via Australian Air Express are delivered to Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Darwin and Hobart metropolitan areas the following business day after collection from Giftbox Express. Locations outside of the metropolitan areas require 2 - 3 business days to complete the delivery process.

Parcels sent by Australia Post STANDARD or REGISTERED mail to Perth Post Codes 6000 - 6214 typically take 2-3 days to travel from Giftbox Express to the recipient.

Unless otherwise arranged all orders sent via Australian Air Express and Australia Post registered Mail require a signature on delivery.


Can I track the delivery process?

Australian Air Express have a track and trace system built into their website: www.aae.com.au [click on track & trace and enter your consignment note number].

If you would like to track your order throughout the delivery process please phone business owner Sheryl Martin [08] 9383 2233 or send an e-mail to: online@giftboxexpress.com.au requesting the number of the consignment note on your parcel.


Can I deliver the gift myself?

Certainly. If you would like to personally deliver your gift you can do so by nominating your home or business address as the point of delivery. When the gift box arrives all you need do is remove the outer packaging and you’re ready to go.

Alternatively, if you live in Perth you may prefer to collect your gift from Giftbox Express in Mount Claremont. This can be organised by selecting the "to be collected" shipping method during the checkout procedure. We will contact you to make a time for collection.


Acceptance of delivery :: Orders sent via Australian Air Express

When Australian Air Express attempt delivery at a residential address and there is no one home, a calling card will be left by the courier so that arrangements for re-delivery can be made. In some instances the courier will then deliver the parcel to the nearest post office where it will require ID and a signature at the time of collection. In this instance a calling card will be left to advise that delivery was attempted and the parcel is now awaiting collection at the local Post Office.

Please note that anyone at the delivery address who signs for the goods will be assumed by giftboxexpress.com.au to be authorised to do so. This includes but is not limited to, a hotel or hospital reception or office secretary signing for receipt of delivery at the specified address.


Delivery Guidelines
    Giftboxexpress.com.au delivers Australia wide, including country and remote areas. Parts of Australia are particularly remote and may require special delivery instructions. If in doubt either contact us before placing your order or send your order and should we encounter or expect any difficulties we will contact you immediately.

    Please review our delivery times carefully as these outline the time required to deliver your Giftbox to the desired destination. We have aligned ourselves with excellent couriers who endeavor to provide the best attention to care and speed of service. However, there may be times when despite our best efforts, gifts are delayed in the delivery process. For these reasons all delivery times shown are our best estimate only.

    All deliveries are made Monday to Friday. No deliveries are made on weekends or designated public holidays.

    As a guide Australian Air Express delivers to business addresses between 9am and 5pm and to home addresses up to 6pm. Unfortunately we are unable to provide an estimated time of delivery.

    It is your responsibility to enter the correct delivery address at the time of ordering. Should you enter the incorrect address we are not obliged to re-send the order to the correct address at our expense. If Giftbox Express is charged a redelivery fee as a result of inaccurate delivery details provided by you, that charge may be passed on to you at our discretion.

    It is your responsibility to ensure that someone is available at the delivery address to accept delivery of your order. Any delays due to the recipient not being available at the time of delivery are not our responsibility. Redelivery charges may apply at our discretion.

    To keep the cost of delivery as low as possible all orders sent via Australian Air Express are dispatched uninsured. Full insurance is available at an additional cost of $11.00 per consignment, including GST. Each Gift box is carefully packed into a cardboard shipping carton, lined with bubble wrap to minimalise any risk of damage. Please contact us at the time of placing your order if you would like to insure your gift against damage during transit.

    It is the responsibility of the customer to inform Giftbox Express if an order does not arrive. Once we learn that an order has not arrived by the estimated date we will lodge an enquiry with our courier to ensure delivery occurs as soon as possible. We will not be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from late delivery.

    Late delivery does not constitute a failure of our agreement and does not entitle cancellation of your order.
